David James Shepard
SEI Software Solutions Division
David Shepard has made a career working in many different areas of the information-technology field, but since 2010 he has worked as a software developer within the SEI’s Software Solutions Division. Shepard has spent time building networks, administering servers, designing software, writing and debugging software, working on process-improvement initiatives, auditing application security, implementing big-data and machine-learning systems, and assisting digital-forensic investigations. Shepard has worked in corporate, education, and government sectors for large institutions, mid-sized companies, and startups, on on projects ranging in size from the tens of thousands to the tens of millions of dollars in budget.
