Clifford C. Huff
Software Engineering Institute
Clifford has more than 30 years of professional software development experience. He is the team lead for Web Services Development and Systems Administration team at the SEI. This team is responsible for development and technical support for key internal and external web infrastructure and websites, like www.sei.cmu.edu, resources.sei.cmu.edu, insights.sei.cmu.edu and workspace.sei.cmu.edu.
He is also a senior mentor with the CMU/ISRI Masters of Software Engineering (MSE) program, and over time has mentored 20+ projects. He is the recipient of 2008 SCS/MSE Coach Award.
As a MSE graduate student, participated with and lead a development team, which developed software for a NASA-sponsored CMU-developed robot called the Tessellator for servicing tiles on NASA's fleet of Space Shuttles.
Before joining the SEI, he was the Technical Director for Office & Engineering Systems program at GTE Government Systems (now General Dynamics Mission Systems).
While serving in the Air Force, he was involved with satellite test and control systems at the Air Force Satellite Control Facility at Onizuka Air Station in Sunnyvale, California.
