Microsoft Kim Howell is the Director of Privacy Governance in Microsoftâ€™s Trustworthy Computing Group (TwC). She has been working at Microsoft for nearly 10 years, 8 of those in privacy. Her team manages the corporate privacy policies and standards, and is the primary point of contact between TwC and the Business Group Privacy Managers who are responsible for policy compliance. She is a two-time recipient of the MS Trustworthy Computing Privacy Excellence Award, and frequently presents at privacy conferences such as those held by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
Prior to working at Microsoft, Kim worked in both the financial and publishing industries. She has a Master's Degree in Applied Statistics and a background in database marketing, building statistical models for targeted marketing.
