Abstract
SEI’s Dr. Rod Nord presents his research on developing machine learning techniques that reduce the time to detect system implementations that do not conform to intended designs (i.e., non-conformances) in systems. His work speeds up this time from months or years to hours, which will reduce the time to field capabilities and lower lifecycle costs. A panel Q&A discussion with the SEI’s Dr. Lori Flynn, moderated by Dr. Hasan Yasar of the SEI, follows this presentation at the 2020 SEI Research Review.
