Abstract

Over the past few months, many companies have had to set up remote operations and make tough financial decisions. While everyone is struggling to deal with a global pandemic, it might seem strange to adopt new development practices within the organization; but even as the COVID-19 uncertainties continue to grow, the goal must be to rebuild for the longer term.

The world has seen a big surge in internet usage over the past few months, and this means many companies have had to accelerate their business development plans. The current situation has given the organizations an opportunity to look again at their DevOps processes and build in security from the ground up.

In this presentation, we’ll discuss how to transform the DevOps role to be more security-specific, addressing how this would change the way companies address their cybersecurity strength and improve how well they can predict, prevent, and respond to ever-changing cyberthreats.
