Currently, there are few virtualization options available for training that involves the use of wireless networks. As a result, wireless security training often involves the use of physical devices or outsourcing the training to a costly vendor. This video discusses WELLE-D, a software tool that the SEI developed to address these issues. WELLE-D is a wireless traffic transport for wired networks that organizations can use to create realistic, virtual wireless network environments. WELLE-D provides a cost-effective means of hosting exercises, and a safe and controlled environment in which to do so.
