To help fill cybersecurity roles, this paper explores how organizations identify talent, discusses assessment capabilities, and provides recommendations on recruitment and talent evaluations.
In today’s workforce, organizations have difficulty filling vacant cybersecurity positions. In some cases, this problem stems from a lack of qualified professionals. In other cases, qualified professionals are available, but organizations have trouble finding them because those professionals are not an exact match for the positions they need to fill. This paper aims to help organizations fill those vacant roles by examining how they can better identify talent. It also provides an overview of current and future assessment capabilities for organizations to find talent more easily, and provides recommendations on candidate recruitment and talent evaluation.
