Abstract
Never before has the Army faced threats of the scale, persistence and reach as it does today in the cyber domain. To fight and win, game changers are needed not just in the complex methodologies and systems of the cyber domain, but also in the science of data. In this article, Maj. Gen. John W. Baker and Lt. Col. Steven J. Henderson, U.S. Army retired, recommend that the Army begin work to create formalized data science opportunities.
