Poster on research to integrate cyber effects into tactical decision-making for soldiers
Abstract
This work is intended to help front-line soldiers visualize cyber-warfare opportunities in their natural surroundings by using augmented reality to display virtual content to the soldier, in the form of 3D graphics aligned and overlaid on the real world. The information that a soldier sees identifies possible actions with regard to objects in the field of vision, such as downloading electronic information from a computer, exploiting a network vulnerability in a router, or disabling an alarm system. The goal is to integrate cyber effects into tactical decision-making for soldiers.
