We investigated the following dimensions along which to align an employee’s intrinsic incentive to act consistently with his or her employer’s interests: job engagement, perceived organizational support, and connectedness at work. Through insider-incident-case analyses and an organizational survey, we gained insight into the influence of positive incentives on insider threat risk.
