The SEI helps advance software engineering principles and practices and serves as a national resource in software engineering, computer security, and process improvement. The SEI works closely with defense and government organizations, industry, and academia to continually improve software-intensive systems. Its core purpose is to help organizations improve their software engineering capabilities and develop or acquire the right software, defect free, within budget and on time, every time.
CERT Kevin Moore is a member of the technical staff in the CERT Forensics Team at Carnegie Mellon University's Software Engineering Institute .
In addition to providing operational support to law enforcement and intelligence agencies on emerging trends in forensics, Kevin helps maintain and develop the CERT Forensics lab, including CERT's Clustered-Computer Analysis Platform (CCAP) environment.
Prior to joining the SEI, Kevin worked in the private sector performing global forensic and electronic discovery investigations. He holds a B.S. degree in Economic Crime Investigation from Utica College of Syracuse University.
