Abstract

The craze about modern-day 'DevOps' is not new. It's been there since 2007 and its popularity is increasing by leaps and bounds. But is this on a sustainable path or is it heading for an eventual failure?

We'll take a deep dive into how this started, how the culture-centric approach moved to a tool-centric model, and what we need to do to prevent it from heading towards a most certain failure route.

Arijit, Agile & DevOps Practice Head at Atos, comes with a unique blend of development, leadership, and entrepreneurial background. In his career spanning over 22 years, he has not only worked on multiple technology stacks but has also worked with multiple organizations in diversified roles and portfolios. He has been a keen 'agile' follower since his early development days with start-ups and has passionately carried this practice to other organizations as well. In this process, Arijit has earned a reputation and is well known for increasing business profitability, cost optimization, and building high-performing teams using agile methodologies -- across industry domains.
