Abstract

At the CYBURGH, PA Initiative event in February 2016, Pittsburgh area participants will discuss cybersecurity issues, solutions to them, and next steps. Cybersecurity challenges are grouped into three categories: those related to people, processes, and technology. This article complements the people discussions, which center around the following:

  • Finding and retaining our cybersecurity resources
  • Continuously developing our existing staff in cybersecurity practices
  • Measuring the abilities and effectiveness of our cybersecurity resources
  • Ensuring that a pipeline of local resources can meet our cybersecurity workforce needs
