Abstract
Over the past 4-5 years, there have been several efforts to show the synergy and integration of CMMI and TSP. Most recently, the TSP AIM project has defined ways to incorporate Six Sigma techniques with TSP for superior performance while pursuing CMMI maturity levels 2 and 3 in an accelerated fashion. In parallel, at one TSP adoption site (Hill ALC), a combined deployment of TSP and CMMI high-maturity process performance modeling resulted in leading discussions about the superior performance of the TSP and CMMI high-maturity intersection.
